Jardins X Nelly Saunier

The Château de Josselin is committed to supporting creation and presents Jardin X Nelly Saunier. Based on fragments found in the archives, "Jardin X Nelly Saunier" retraces the birth of the gardens of the Château de Josselin at the beginning of the 20th century. To shed light on the context of this creation, the exhibition also offers a detour through the great history of gardens. It is also an invitation to discover what the park has become, transformed by the hand of man and by the seasons. "Jardin X Nelly Saunier" also inaugurates a new cycle in the life of the Château de Josselin. In the past, great residences were important commissioners in the field of arts and decorative arts. They thus showcased the talent, ingenuity, and mastery of artists and craftspeople. In order to revive this spirit, the Château de Josselin today invites the feather artist Nelly Saunier, a great admirer of nature and its wonders, to present several of her works in the chapel of the Congregation (free entry) and in the rooms of the castle.
