FEATHERS IN NEVERLAND
Nelly Saunier has had the pleasure of working on feather creations for the adventure movie Pan, out in cinemas this October.

Pan, Joe Wright’s latest adventure film, is released this month in cinemas around the world. It is an enchanting movie, filled with fantasy – including the spectacular costumes created by the trio formed by Chief Designer Aline Bonetto, the Head Costume Designer Jacqueline Durran and Nelly Saunier for the feathers.

For Peter Pan’s nemesis, Black Beard (an unrecognizable Hugh Jackman), Nelly created a corolla of dark feathers, which makes the pirate even more frightening than he was in our childhood memories. For Tiger Lily (Rooney Mara), the Indian princess with a strong personality, Nelly imagined an inspired mix of bright colors, to remind us that her Neverland tribe “represents indigenous people around the globe,” to quote Joe Wright.

In this totally psychedelic Neverland, there is also a bird with magnificent feathers…. A surprise for you to discover at the theater…
